The terms
By using Hoarder Cleaning Company you agree to these terms. Please read them with the privacy policy. Last updated October 31, 2026.
This site connects you with independent hoarding cleanup providers near you. It does not do the cleanup itself.
What the site does
This site connects people with independent hoarding cleanup providers. It is not a cleanup company and does not do the work. It does not employ cleaners, give estimates, set prices or sign contracts on anyone’s behalf. Hoarder Cleaning Company may receive compensation from participating providers.
General information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not medical, mental health, legal or financial advice, and it is not a diagnosis. Health facts are given with their source named, such as the American Psychiatric Association or the International OCD Foundation. Only a qualified professional can diagnose hoarding disorder or advise on treatment. For questions about estates, tenancies or fair housing, speak to an attorney or a fair housing organization.
If someone is in danger or there is a medical emergency, call 911. If you or someone you love is struggling or in crisis, you can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Providers are independent
Providers who reply to a request are independent businesses. The site does not choose a provider’s methods, does not vouch for any provider and is not responsible for their advice, work, prices, conduct or any agreement you make with them. Ask questions, get the estimate in writing and check any registration your state requires before you agree to work. Any contract is between you and the provider.
No promises about cost or coverage
The site publishes no prices of its own and makes no promise about what a cleanup will cost or how long it will take. It makes no promise that insurance or any public program will pay; homeowners insurance usually does not cover hoarding cleanup, so ask your insurer.
Using the site
Please use the request form only for real requests about a home, and only send details about other people that you have a good reason to share. Do not send health details. The site may stop accepting requests from anyone who misuses it.
Links to other sites
The site links to public sources and services, such as the IOCDF, the CDC and the Eldercare Locator. Those sites are run by others, and this site is not responsible for their content.
Changes
These terms may change. The current version is always on this page, with its date. To ask about them, use the contact page.
Ask privately, when you are ready
A few short answers help a provider near you understand the home. Share only what you are comfortable with.
